Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ since 1954

Worship Team

The worship team consists of singers, piano, guitar and bass guitar. Once in awhile, other instruments are substituted.  We are always looking for more instrumentalists who are committed to the church and to Jesus Christ.  We play to praise the Lord and let the Holy Spirit lead us as we lead the congregation.  We practice every other Thursday night at 7pm and every Sunday morning at 9am.  It is all about God, not us.  We all love serving in this capacity.  If you are an instrumentalist and would like to join the team please contact Linda Ihde through the church office.

Appalachian Dulcimers (Folk Music)

A dulcimer is a string instrument that is played on your lap and is very easy to learn.  The group practices every other Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the church.  We play for fun but also practice to perform special music once every 3 months during the service.  We also prepare to play several selections for the yearly church picnic in September.  The group consists of people who can and can't read music.  Everyone who has tried has been successful even if they've never played an instrument before.  We are also joined by a harmonica, guitar, bass, and spoons.  We have extra beginning dulcimers if you want to try it.   We also welcome other "folk instruments."   Contact the church office if you are interested in trying us out.  We would love to have you.

Special Music

Every Sunday we enjoy soloists, duets, or small ensembles who share their gifts with the congregation through music.  If you have a musical gift you would like to share please contact Linda Ihde through the church office.
