Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ since 1954

Our Beliefs

 A. The Holy Scriptures
  • We believe that, all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
(2nd Timothy 3:16-17, & 2nd Peter 1:21)
B.  The Trinity
  • We believe in one triune God eternally existing in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the sameattributes and perfections.
(Deut. 6:4, John 1:1-4, 2nd Corinthians 13:14 & Hebrews 1:1-3)
C.  The Total Depravity of Humanity
  • We believe that mankind was created in the image and likeness of God.  By a deliberate willful act of disobedience, sin entered the world and as a result all humanity is lost and in need of redemption.
(Genesis 1:26, Genesis 2:17, Jeremiah 17:9, & Ephesians 2:1-3)
D.  The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
  1. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.  (John 1:12 & 14, & Luke 1:35)
  2. We believe our redemption has been accomplished by Christ's literal death, burial, and resurrection.  (Matthew 26:28, Romans 5:6-9, & Ephesians 1:7)
  3. We believe that Salvation is secured through Faith in Christ alone.  The moment we trust Him as our Saviour we pass from spiritual death, which is seperation fomr God, into everlasting life.  (John 3:16 -18, & Ephesians 2:8-9)
  4. He currently is at the right hand of the Father interceding on behalf of the saints.  (Romans 8:34)
E.  Salvation and Assurance
  • We believe that salvation is a gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe that all the redeemed are kept by God's power and secure in Christ forever.  (John 1:12, John 10:27-30, & Romans 8:38-39)
F.  The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
  1. We believe the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, or righteousness, and of judgement.  He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.  (John 16: 8 -11, Eph. 1:13-14)
  2.  We believe it should be the desire of all saved to be continously filled with the Holy Spirit.  (John 16:13, & 1 John 2:20, 27)
G.  The Church
  1. We believe the Church is a spiritual organization made up of all born aagain persons.  (Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 5:25-27)
  2. We believe the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament scriptures. (Acts 14:27, Acts 20:17 & 18-32, & 1 Timothy 3:1-13)
  3. We believe the mission of the Church is the Evangelization of the World and the Edification of the Saints.  (Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-12)
H.  The Family
  • We believe God has ordained the family as the basic unit os society.  Incorporated in this is the sanctity of human life and the rejection of alternative life styles such as, cohabitation outside of marriage and practicing homosexuality.  (Ephesians 5:22 - 6:4, Colossians 3:18-21, Titus 2:1-8, & Romans 1:24-27)
I.  Eternal Destiny
  1. We believe in the bodily resurrection of humankind; the saved to eternal life (Heaven), and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Hell).  (John 14:1-6, Revelation 20:11-15)
  2. We believe the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection, when spirit, soul and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord.  (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:4-6)
  3. We believe the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious misery until the second resurrection, when with soul and body reunited they shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting conscious punishment.  (Luke 16:19-26, 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-9)
J.  Future Events
  1. We believe the next great event in the fulfillment of prophecy will be the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the air (Rapture) to receive to Himself both those who are alive and remain unto His coming and those who experienced  the first death. We are to be expecting His coming.  (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
  2. We believe that following the Rapture will be the inception of the Great Tribulation, which was predicted by our Lord and that finally He will bring to an end that time of judgement for the whole earth by His glorious appearing.  (Matthew 24: 15-24)
  3. We believe that following the Great Tribulation, the Lord will introduce His thousand year reign over the Earth (Millenial Kingdom). (Matthew 24:27-31, & Acts 15:14-17)
